הפסטיבל מארח בימאים, יוצרים ואנשי אקדמיה מחו"ל ומהארץ ומקרין סרטים בהקרנות בכורה בישראל.

60 סרטים- הרצאות- פאנלים- סדנאות- תערוכות- מיצגי וידאו ואמנות העוסקים בנושאים כמו: אוטיזם, פיגור, עיוורון, חירשות, תסמונת דאון, אספרגר, סכיזופרניה, הפרעה דו קוטבית, שיתוק, גמגום, נמיכות קומה ועוד. הפסטיבל מרגש, יצירתי ומלמד והוא נוגע בחיים של כולנו בין אם במישרין או בעקיפין.

במלאות שנה לפטירתה של המוסיקאית, המטפלת במוסיקה והסופרת נעה בלאס, משדרים גלי צה"ל שעה מתוך ראיונות שהתקיימו איתה במשך השנים האחרונות. נעה בלאס טיפלה בפגועי נפש, אוטיסטים, מפגרים וגם בילדים מחוננים על ידי מוסיקה, גונגים ויוגה. בתכנית נשמע על החוויות השונות מתוך הטיפולים וגם מנגינות שחיברה יחד עם תלמידיה. התכנית שודרה ב 5.2.2010

משתתפי הקבוצה יוכלו להעלות ולעבד תכנים רגשיים הקשורים לעולמם, למקומם במשפחה ולהיותם אחים לילדים ובוגרים עם אוטיזם דרך שימוש בכלים מתחום התרפיה בהבעה ויצירה (אמנות ומוסיקה). ההתנסות בקבוצה תיעשה באופן המשלב את כל מימדי החוויה: פיסית, חושית, רגשית ושכלית.

הקבוצה מיועדת לאחים/ות בגילאי 9-12 באיזור השרון.

Recent research has shown that art therapy can be particularly effective for children with autism and related communication disorders. The extensive range of symptoms experienced by autistic people makes them extremely individual in presentation, so any treatment used must be tailored to a range of varying needs. Art Therapy with Children on the Autistic Spectrum presents a new model of practice, which primarily focuses on communication difficulties. The authors describe how negative behaviors and subsequent tension may be alleviated when the autistic child is involved in interactive art making with the therapist. The book is divided into three parts: the first part explores art making processes and art work, with an emphasis on how art can be specifically communicative. A history of autism is presented within the therapeutic context. The second part challenges existing methods of practice within art therapy and considers the most appropriate approaches to treating autistic children. The last part discusses research that lead to the formulation of this specific model-methodology and assessment interventions are analyzed, as well as the ongoing development of appropriate assessment instruments. Case studies of art therapy with individual autistic children demonstrate the use of the model and the outcomes. Throughout the book, it is emphasized how art therapy works as an integral part of overall management and treatment approaches to autism. It will be of particular interest to all those professionals working with autistic children and specialists in other communication disorders.

About the Author Kathy Evans is an art therapist, currently based at the University of Hertfordshire. She has specialised in the development of communicative abilities in children with autism. Janek Dubowski is an art therapist and psychotherapist who has written extensively on the subject of art therapy and children with learning difficulties

רחל מאובחנת כסובלת מהפרעת אספרגר. אבחנה זו היא בתחום ההפרעות ההתפתחותיות הנרחבות  ( (P.D.Dוכוללת פגיעה בתחומי הקשר, התקשורת, חיי המשחק והחיים הרגשיים, אך לא קיימת לכאורה פגיעה בתפקודי השפה ובתפקודים האינטלקטואליים. הפרעה זו מוכרת גם כאוטיזם בתפקוד גבוה.

רחל נמצאת בטיפול כשש וחצי שנים. מאז גיל 4, היום היא בת 10 וחצי….
